Methodology
Data concerning marine traffic
in Montreal reports the volume of freight unloaded in the Port of
Montreal.
The freight is divided into
two major categories, each with two sub-categories: general freight
(containerized and non-containerized, as well as the total of both)
and bulk goods (dry and liquid).
The volume is expressed in metric tons and the data, both quarterly
and annual, is raw – neither deseasonalized nor
annualized.
