Methodology
The annual rate of inflation
reflects changes in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) between a given
period and the same period the previous year. In this case, it
shows the percentage change over a twelve-month period.
The data used to compile the inflation rate are those of the
overall CPI as provided by Statistics Canada.
